Contribution Terms

By creating an account, applying to or accepting a project, proposing a project, or submitting work through the Mojza Contributor Platform, you agree to these Contribution Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

If you are under the age at which you can independently agree to these terms under applicable law, you should use the platform only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You must be able to understand the project instructions and make a genuine commitment to the work you accept.

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• Use one personal account unless Mojza authorizes otherwise.
• Keep your password and login session private.
• Do not impersonate another person or create a misleading profile.
• Do not provide false subjects, grades, skills, experience, or portfolio work.

Your username, contributor rank, approved credits, badges, contribution categories, completed public projects, and certificate verification details may be public. Your full name appears on certificates and appears on your public contributor profile only when you choose a full-name display option. Other profile information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Contributors may have only the number of pending applications, proposals, invitations, or active assignments permitted by the platform at that time. Current limits are shown in the interface and may be adjusted to protect project quality and response times.

• Apply only when you reasonably expect to complete the work.
• Answer project-specific questions honestly.
• Applications may be accepted or rejected without an individual explanation.
• Pending applications may be withdrawn before acceptance.
• After acceptance, withdrawal or removal normally requires staff approval.
• Invitations do not guarantee continued assignment or project publication.
• Deadlines, scopes, roles, and milestones may change through the platform's approval process.

Everyone using the platform must:

• Treat contributors, leads, staff, students, and partners respectfully.
• Communicate honestly about progress, availability, and delays.
• Avoid harassment, discrimination, intimidation, bullying, or retaliation.
• Use project access and contact information only for legitimate Mojza work.
• Follow reasonable project, safeguarding, editorial, and security instructions.
• Report serious safety, plagiarism, privacy, or misconduct concerns in good faith.

Knowingly false, malicious, or retaliatory reports may themselves be treated as misconduct.

Submitted work must be accurate, useful, complete, and responsive to the project instructions. Contributors remain responsible for every submission made in their name, including work submitted by a Project Lead on behalf of a team.

• Do not plagiarize or present another person's work as your own.
• Use reliable sources and provide citations or source notes when requested.
• Do not submit confidential, unlawfully obtained, deceptive, or infringing material.
• Do not fabricate research, grades, opportunities, statistics, quotations, or references.
• Follow copyright, brand, formatting, and subject-quality requirements.

AI tools may be used only where the project instructions allow them. Material AI assistance should be disclosed to the Project Lead or reviewer. AI output must be checked, corrected, sourced where necessary, and substantially developed into work that meets Mojza's standards. Undisclosed, inaccurate, copied, or low-effort AI output may be rejected and may lead to account action.

Reviewers may approve work, request unlimited reasonable revisions, or reject it. Rejected work does not earn credits. Larger projects should use milestones where separate approved work should earn separate credits.

You retain ownership of original work you create unless a project clearly states different terms before you accept it. By submitting work to Mojza, you grant Mojza a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to review, edit, adapt, reproduce, publish, distribute, archive, translate, display, and promote that work in connection with Mojza's educational and organizational activities.

This licence allows Mojza to combine work with other materials, update formatting or branding, correct errors, maintain resources after a contributor leaves, and publish through Mojza websites, social channels, documents, or partner platforms. Mojza may credit contributors individually, collectively, or through their public contributor profiles, depending on the project and publication format.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the material and grant this permission. Third-party material must be properly licensed, permitted, or used within applicable legal exceptions. Mojza may remove or decline any material where ownership or permission is unclear.

• Credits are awarded only after authorized approval.
• Acceptance or submission alone does not earn credits.
• Credits may be tied to a role, milestone, completed task, or approved Project Lead bonus.
• Partial credits are not guaranteed unless work was divided into separately approved milestones.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged.
• Rank thresholds and badge rules may be updated prospectively as the platform develops.

Mojza may correct, deduct, revoke, or restore credits where there was an error, duplicate award, rejected or plagiarized work, serious misconduct, manipulation, or abuse. Material adjustments should be recorded in the platform's administrative history.

Certificate eligibility does not guarantee issuance. Eligible contributors may request a Certificate of Contribution, which is subject to administrative review. Certificates use the current full name saved in the contributor profile when issued. The issued name is permanently recorded and does not change when the profile is edited later. Certificates may also state the username, rank at issue, contribution categories, issue date, and verification ID.

Mojza may refuse, correct, or revoke a certificate where its underlying credits or contributions were inaccurate, withdrawn, plagiarized, fraudulently obtained, or affected by serious misconduct. The public verification page may show whether a certificate is valid or revoked. Badges, leaderboard placement, features, and Project Lead priority are forms of recognition, not guaranteed benefits.

Project Lead is a project-specific responsibility, not a platform-wide contributor rank. Leads may manage their project's applicants, invitations, instructions, coordination, and submissions within the permissions provided by Mojza.

Project Leads cannot award credits, approve their own work, directly remove contributors, or make unrestricted platform decisions. Credit changes, deadline changes, removals, final approval, and completion remain subject to authorized staff review. Mojza staff may override a project decision where necessary for fairness, safety, quality, or platform integrity.

Use private profile information, team email addresses, draft resources, internal links, reports, and review notes only for the project purpose for which access was granted. Do not copy, publish, scrape, sell, or use that information to contact people outside Mojza work without permission.

External Drive, document, design, and video links must use appropriate access settings. Contributors must promptly remove access or notify Mojza if a link exposes information or material beyond the intended project team.

Mojza may investigate suspected misconduct, inactivity, plagiarism, harassment, spam, fake profiles, inappropriate proposals, misuse of access, or violations of these terms. Depending on the circumstances, Mojza may:

• Dismiss a report or provide guidance.
• Add an internal note or warning.
• Request revisions or reject a submission.
• Remove a contributor from a project.
• Deduct or revoke credits, badges, or certificates.
• Restrict project eligibility or leadership privileges.
• Suspend or permanently ban an account.
• Preserve evidence or refer serious safety or legal concerns to appropriate parties.

Decisions may be made without advance notice where urgent action is needed to protect users, data, or project integrity. A contributor may request reconsideration by contacting info@mojza.org with relevant context. Mojza's Administrator has final platform authority.

Participation is voluntary unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Credits, badges, certificates, recommendations, and public recognition are not wages, academic qualifications, employment benefits, or promises of admission, scholarships, internships, or future opportunities.

Using the platform does not create an employment, partnership, agency, fiduciary, or contractor relationship between a contributor and Mojza. Contributors are responsible for deciding whether they have sufficient time, permission, equipment, and internet access to participate.

Mojza may modify, pause, cancel, or discontinue projects or platform features. We aim to keep records accurate and the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, selection for a project, publication of submitted work, a particular review time, or permanent availability of external links.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Mojza is not responsible for losses caused by third-party services, contributor-provided links, unauthorized account access resulting from a contributor's failure to protect credentials, or reliance on draft or unapproved material.

Mojza may update these terms as the contribution system develops. Material changes may be announced through the platform. Continued use after an updated effective date means the new terms apply to future activity. Where a project has specific written instructions, those instructions supplement these terms but cannot remove platform safety, privacy, or administrative controls.

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These terms are interpreted under applicable law. Questions, complaints, copyright concerns, and reconsideration requests can be sent to info@mojza.org.
